Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 24, 2026
1. Who we are
KFIRE is a free, open-source, self-hosted gaming-presence tracker. The KFIRE project provides the software; each server is run independently by the community that hosts it, which is the operator (data controller) for its own instance. This policy covers the kfire.io website and the project reference instance operated by Knights of Eternity (https://www.guilde-ke.fr).
2. The kfire.io website
The marketing site has no user accounts and does not collect personal data beyond the standard technical logs of our hosting and CDN provider (such as IP address, used for security and to serve the site). We use no advertising or tracking cookies.
3. Data processed by a KFIRE instance
When you use a KFIRE server, it processes: your account identifier, your in-game presence (which game you are playing, detected locally by the optional desktop app and only while you choose to share it), your playtime, and the platform accounts you choose to link (Steam, Battle.net, Xbox, Riot Games) together with the public statistics imported from them.
You can go invisible, hide your activity, or unlink an account at any time.
4. Riot Games data
If you link your Riot account, you provide your Riot ID (gameName#tagLine). KFIRE resolves your PUUID and retrieves your public statistics (such as ranked tier and LP, champion mastery and recent match summaries for League of Legends; ranked data for Teamfight Tactics, Valorant and Legends of Runeterra) through the official Riot Games API.
This data is used solely to display your stats to logged-in members of your community. It is cached and refreshed periodically, and deleted when you unlink your Riot account or when your KFIRE account is removed.
KFIRE isn't endorsed by Riot Games and doesn't reflect the views or opinions of Riot Games or anyone officially involved in producing or managing Riot Games properties.
5. Other connectors
Steam, Battle.net and Xbox data is handled the same way: linked by you, used only to display your stats, and removed when you unlink. Each provider has its own terms and privacy policy that apply to the data it exposes.
6. Sharing
We never sell your data. It is visible only to members of your own community instance and is never made public. Third-party APIs are queried in accordance with their respective terms.
7. Retention and your rights
Data is kept while your account is active and removed when you unlink or delete your account. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data, or unlink any platform yourself, by contacting [email protected].
8. Self-hosted instances
Other organizations may run their own KFIRE servers; they are responsible for their instances. This policy governs kfire.io and the Knights of Eternity reference instance.
9. Changes and contact
We may update this policy; the date above reflects the latest version. For any question, contact us at [email protected].
